About

Helping people find clarity in life's difficult moments

For over two decades, I've walked alongside individuals, couples, and families through their most challenging seasons—providing a steady presence and the tools needed to move forward.

Michael Meister, Licensed Professional Counselor

Why I became a therapist

Twenty years ago, I made a decision that would shape the rest of my life: to dedicate myself to understanding the human mind and helping others navigate its complexities. What started as academic curiosity evolved into a profound calling—witnessing the resilience of the human spirit and the transformative power of genuine connection.

I've learned that healing rarely follows a straight path. It meanders, doubles back, and sometimes feels impossible. But I've also seen, time and again, that with the right support and tools, people find their way through. My role isn't to fix anyone—it's to walk alongside them, offering perspective when they can't see it and hope when they've lost it.

Every person who walks into my practice carries a unique story. I consider it a privilege to hear these stories and to help write the next chapter—one where anxiety doesn't dictate decisions, where relationships can be repaired, and where the weight of depression begins to lift.
